Seaside Car Week events rev up, road closures in place
SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV) - The City of Seaside is at the ready for Car Week festivities, which also means some road closures are in store for drivers traveling through for Car Week.
The Porsche Monterey Classic Car Show will take place along Del Monte and Tioga Avenues from the Granite Rock Building today, August 11, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Del Monte Avenue will be closed from 12:30 to 9 p.m. between Tioga and the Granite Rock building.
Exotics on Broadway will feature exotic and custom cars along Broadway Avenue between Del Monte and Fremont Boulevards on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The location of the car shows and the northbound and southbound lanes of Fremond Boulevard from Clementina Avenue and Amador Street between 12 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Other events in Seaside for Car Week include the Concorse Italiano & The Paddock Car Show at the Bayonet Blackhorse Golf Course on Friday, Aug. 15, to Saturday, Aug. 16, from 3 to 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., respectively.
The Concours d'Lemons Car Show will be hosted at the Seaside City Hall Lawn on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Neither show will have any road closures, but heavy traffic is expected.
