Seaside vehicle break-in suspect arrested

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION) - A man suspected to be behind several break-ins in Seaside has been arrested.

According to Seaside Police, 34-year-old Mario Perez Vega was arrested using FLOCK technology. When arrested, police found the stolen items, including toolboxes and other work equipment.

This comes a few days after KION reported the uptick of car break-ins in the city of Seaside. Six work trucks were broken into as of KION's last report on the break-ins.

Vega is being charged with possession of burglary tools and stolen items.
