Road closures announced for Watsonville Strawberry Festival
WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION-TV) - The Watsonville Strawberry Festival returns this weekend with road closures scheduled around the area.
Thursday, July 31 to Sunday, Aug. 3
- Main Street from Beach Street to Central Avenue
- Maple Avenue from Union Street to Stoesser Alley
Friday, Aug. 1 to Sunday, Aug. 3.
- Main Street from Lake to Beach Streets
- Beach Street from Union Street to Stoesser Alley
- Peck Street from Union to Main Streets
- Union Street from Beach to Maple Street
The Watsonville Strawberry Festival will feature a host of strawberry treats, local vendors, live music, and more for those looking to join in.
The festival begins on Friday, Aug. 1 and runs until Sunday, Aug. 3. Festivities kick off at 5 p.m. Friday with live music and a carnival until 9 pm.
The festival times are Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event is free for all.
