Plans begin to stir on what to do with the old Castroville signs

CASTROVILLE, Calif. (KION-TV) - If you've been wondering what will happen to the old Castroville sign now that a new one has been installed, a meeting this week might have the answer.

The Castroville Community Services District Board of Directors plans to discuss the topic at its meeting on Tuesday.

If you'd like to go, it starts at 4:30 p.m. at 11499 Geil Street in Castroville.

Meeting documents show there's no real plan currently in place for the old sign.

Monterey County Supervisor Luis Alejo previously said he hopes it will be restored and placed in another part of town.
