ICE arrest made in Seaside, police confirmed

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV) - Seaside Police have confirmed an arrest was made by the ICE agents this morning in Seaside.

According to Seaside PD, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, or ICE, had made the arrest as part of a targeted enforcement action. One unidentified adult man was arrested.

Seaside said in a post on Facebook that they were not involved in the process: "We wish to reassure our community that this was not a sweep and the Seaside Police Department was not involved. We remain committed to transparency and will provide additional information as necessary."
