Greenfield Police add two drones to their department

GREENFIELD, Calif. (KION-TV) - New state-of-the-art drones are being added to the Greenfield Police Department.

The two new drones will assist officers in investigations and response to calls in real-time.

One of the drones will be housed atop the Greenfield Police Department's roof and can be auto-deployed to respond to emergency calls and provide footage within minutes to officers.

A second drone is more mobile, can be operated anywhere in the field from their patrol car., and offers the same capabilities as the rooftop drone.

The drones can also stream live video, infrared scanning, and heat signatures.
