Warriors beat Rockets 103-89 in Game 7, advance to Conference Semifinals

HOUSTON, Tex. (KION) - Led by Buddy Hield with a team-high nine 3-pointers and 33 points, the Warriors grounded the Rockets 103-89 in Game 7 to advance. Next up, Golden State will square off against Minnesota in the Western Conference semifinals

The Warriors bounced back from a tough 115-107 loss in Game 6.

Stephen Curry was fairly quiet early on in Game 7, scoring 14 of 22 points in the fourth quarter alone. Curry finished second in scoring, adding 7 assists and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Jimmy Butler followed close behind with 20 points.

All but three of the Warriors' points came from the starting lineup.

In enemy territory, Golden State managed to snap a two-game losing stretch to retake the series and clinch.

The Timberwolves will now host the Warriors on Tuesday, May 6.
