Two arrested in early Monday morning hit-and-run in Scotts Valley

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Two suspects were arrested on Monday morning after a hit-and-run car collision on Highway 17 in Scotts Valley.

California Highway Patrol received word of a five-car injury collision with a hit-and-run. while assisting in the area, CHP received a report of an attempted car hacking at Safeway.

Upon arrival, the officers spotted two suspects and arrested them after one fled on foot and the other was abrasive. Their descriptions matched those of the Highway 17 hit-and-run suspects.

Both were arrested on felony DUI and hit-and-run charges.
