Three juveniles to be arrested for storage fire arson in Scotts Valley

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Three juveniles will be arrested for setting fire to a storage container behind Target in Scotts Valley.

The three suspects were caught on camera on Friday setting fire to the unit before running away. Scotts Valley Fire District put out the fire before it could spread further.

The suspects were identified in a partnership with Scotts Valley Police's School Resource Officer Patrick Ahrens and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department.

The parents of those involved in the fire have been told that their children will be arrested for felony arson and sent to juvenile court for prosecution.
