Correction: Anacostia River-Cleanup story

WASHINGTON (AP) — In a story published June 5, 2024, about efforts to clean up the Anacostia River that flows through Washington, D.C., and parts of Maryland, The Associated Press erroneously reported the name of a nonprofit that seeks to protect and restore the river. It is the Anacostia Watershed Society, not the Anacostia River Watershed.
