Woman surrenders after standoff in Seaside, arrested

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION) - A woman was arrested for reckless driving after a standoff at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Seaside on Tuesday night.

According to the Seaside Police Department, Jennifer Munoz Diaz, 26, was seen driving in and out of opposing lanes of traffic in Seaside.

Officers found Diaz's car and began to pursue, ending in the Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot.

Diaz refused to leave the car, with officers attempting to break the windows with a less-lethal shotgun.

Yet, the rubber shells were ineffective. Ultimately, Diaz would leave her car and surrender.

Diaz was arrested on multiple charges, including DUI, reckless driving, and evading police.
