Royal Oak Parks repaving main road for first time since 1966

ROYAL OAKS, Calif. (KION) -- The County of Monterey says Royal Oaks Park will be closed to vehicles for a few days next week, starting Monday.

This is due to the main road being repaved for the first time since the park opened in 1966.

The project will fix some dips, minor sinkholes, and recent storm damage.

Vehicles will be prohibited from April 28 through May 1.

Walk-in visitors will still be allowed.
