CHP: Deadly crash on Highway 1 near Big sur

CHP reports that a person has died after a crash on Highway 1 south of Garrapata State Park.

Only one car was involved, and it was found on its side. The person in the car was dead when crews arrived.

Highway 1 is shut down while crews clear the scene.
