Pet of the Week: Meet Katniss!

Meet Katniss! She's a friendly 16-week-old kitten who, along with her siblings, was surrendered by a King City resident who was not able to care for them. Katniss is a beautiful medium-haired white, black, and gray girl who is part of the Hunger Games litter. Her brother is Peeta and her sister is Primrose. All have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, and are ready to join your family!

Katniss is the leader of the pack, and readily explores new places and approaches new potential friends. This bold and confident girl is often on the move, either playing with her siblings or chasing after her toys. Katniss gravitates towards people and loves getting attention and cuddles even more. She
is a medium energy kitten who would do well with a family looking for an affectionate and happy kitten. She has not been tested with dogs but does get along with other cats.

Our Neighborhood Pet Project's next adoption event is coming up soon on Saturday, October 26th, from 10 am until 2 pm at the PetSmart in Salinas. You can expect to meet both cats and dogs of all ages if you come visit us! Please stop by to meet all of them!
