Concours d’Elegance shifts gears to second Sunday in August 2028

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (KION-TV) - The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance will be ready to hit the road a bit earlier, starting in 2028.

Instead of being held on the third Sunday in August, it will move to the second Sunday after 30 years. Concours Chairman Sandra Button explained that the change is due to schools beginning earlier, hoping that more families can attend.

“Parents want to share their love of cars with their kids, and we want to make that more possible,” said Button in a release.

This means the next two years, the Concours will remain on the third Sunday. The next scheduled dates for the Concours d'Elegance are:

Aug. 16, 2026
Aug. 15, 2027
Aug. 13, 2028
Aug. 12, 2029
Aug. 11, 2030
