Central Coast Poker Rally rallies in Marina at the Brass Tap

MARINA, Calif. (KION-TV) - Car Week is revving up here on the Central Coast, bringing with it some new events for car owners and enthusiasts to enjoy.

Dozens of hot rods were on display outside The Brass Tap in Marina earlier.

It's part of the Central Coast Poker Rally with the Dunes Car Show also marking the first car week event in Marina in years. 

"Just the amount of cars and the variety of cars, there's nothing else like it. It's a very rare, kind of unique opportunity to see things that you wouldn't see otherwise, up close and personal," said Carmel resident Doug Ball.

People also got to vote for their favorite car in the People's Choice Award.

Those at the Central Coast Poker Rally also enjoyed a full breakfast buffet at The Brass Tap and took parade laps at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

Proceeds from the rally will support the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, which helps veterans, first responders, and Gold Star families.
