SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION) - Flood warning for Corralitos Creek is now canceled as the water level descreases.

Corralitos Creek in Santa Cruz has now hit action with a flood warning issued for that area.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning in effect as of 8:52 a.m. with those living in and around the likely to experience flooding from the river and creek in the morning hours.

This includes Santa Cruz, Watsonville, Corralitos, Capitola, Aptos, Eureka Canyon Road, Rio Del Mar, Brown Valley Road, Amesti, Freedom, Uvas Canyon Park, Soquel, Interlaken, Opal Cliffs, Twin Lakes, Day Valley, Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley and Apto Hills-Larkin.
