Local Gilroy artist paints tributes for firefighters battling SoCal wildfires
GILROY, Calif. (KION) -- A local Gilroy artist painted a tribute to the firefighters battling the Southern California wildfires.
In addition to painting this tribute, Ignacio Moya has also painted portraits of several Hollywood stars and famous athletes.
On Wednesday, he posted a video on social media where he talks about his motivation for painting this tribute that he sees on screen.
Moya plans to go to Los Angeles and donate this portrait to the fire department for the work they are doing right now.
